Overview

Plastering takeoffs from your construction drawings

Turn the plans and specifications into a plastering scope you can inspect. Sigma Build separates wall and ceiling linings, wet areas and special assemblies, then carries the quantities into material planning and your quote.

What your takeoff includes

  • Wall and ceiling areas grouped by lining type, height and location.
  • Cornice lengths, openings and special linings such as bulkheads.
  • Plasterboard orders using your selected board sizes, layers and waste allowance.

Drawings to send

Send floor plans together with sections, ceiling plans and lining schedules. Heights and assembly details help distinguish standard walls from special systems.

Common questions

Does it deduct doors and windows?

Openings are resolved against the drawings. Review the opening deductions and scope controls in the takeoff before preparing your quote.

Can I change board sizes and labour rates?

Yes. Material settings control board sizes and waste; quote rates are entered separately, so an order allowance does not change the measured area.
