Tiling and waterproofing, measured by scope
A bathroom floor does not define the whole tiling package. Sigma Build distinguishes floor tiles, wall tiles, splashbacks, skirting and waterproofing so each surface can be reviewed and included on its own terms.
What your takeoff includes
- Floor and wall tile areas, including separate splashback and outdoor scopes.
- Tile skirting, upstands and angle trims where specified.
- Waterproofing areas and purchasing allowances for the included rooms.
Drawings to send
Upload floor plans, wet-area elevations and tiling schedules. Include tile heights, waterproofing extents and product coverage when available.

Common questions
Is waterproofing included for every tiled room?
No. Waterproofing is an independent scope decision. Check each room and the global waterproofing control rather than assuming all tiled surfaces need membrane.
Can splashbacks be priced separately?
Yes. Splashbacks and outdoor tile work stay separate from indoor wall tiling, so you can apply the relevant rates and material allowances.
